What’s New with Wicket – November 2025

Welcome to the Fall 2025 Wicket Express Update, where we highlight new product updates, integrations, and news from Wicket.

Wicket Worldwide

Wicket is now global! After years of expansion in the U.S. sports and live events market, our facial authentication platform is now used on every continent across the globe (that has live events, sorry Antarctica). In addition to our global presence, we recently celebrated a significant milestone by crossing over 6 MILLION transactions processed by our system at customer venues and events across ticketing, credentialed access, and payments use cases.

Now that we got that news out of the way – let’s dive in.

New Suite of Developer Tools

Wicket has spent years becoming an industry leader in opt-in based facial authentication solutions at some of the largest venues and events in the world. Building products at that scale requires a flexible platform that can adapt and integrate seamlessly with existing technology partners. To continue to build upon our strong partner ecosystem, we’ve worked hard to build out a new suite of developer tools that make it easier than ever to integrate with and use Wicket products.

  • EnrollKit – The first step to unlocking the true potential of the Wicket platform starts with end-user enrollment. Our EnrollKit SDK makes it easy to add Wicket enrollment into existing applications and registration workflows and is available for iOS, Android, Web, and React Native.
  • AuthKit – The real magic happens when the Wicket platform can authenticate end users for a variety of use cases, which can now be built into existing customer apps and products using our AuthKit SDK for iOS and Android.
  • API’s and Webhooks – Wicket has a growing list of customers and integrations that connect to our platform via API and easy-to-use webhooks that enable the secure transfer of user and interaction data to complete and analyze transactions such as ticket redemptions, credential checks, or food and beverage purchases.

Case Study: Major League Soccer utilized Wicket’s credentialing webhook at the MLS All-Star game held in Austin. In this video, our Head of Partnerships Glenn Borgmann spoke from their Future of the Game Showcase to explain how Wicket is working with Major League Soccer to innovate the fan experience at events across the country.

Wicket Edge Coming Soon to Google Play Store

In addition to our new suite of developer tools, we’re also excited to announce that our Wicket Edge application will soon be available in the Google Play Store and available for supported Android devices. This means that for designated use cases, our customers now have a choice of using iOS or Android devices to perform facial authentication at their venues and events.

The Android Edge app consists of the same user experience and sub-second transaction times that users have been accustomed to on iOS devices since we launched our first offering more than 5 years ago. If you are interested in using the Android version of the Wicket Edge app, reach out to your Wicket representative to learn more.

Revamped Day Pass / Re-Entry

We recently revamped our Day Pass and Re-Entry offering to make it easier than ever for venue operators to deploy solutions that enable their guests to easily exit and re-enter the venue or designated spaces without needing to re-scan their ticket.

As part of this feature set, we’ve streamlined on-device enrollment that can now be done in less than a second and have added configuration options where multiple Day Passes can be set up for different areas and expiration options that allow them to be used for single or multi-day events. These new features support a wide variety of use cases, such as re-entry into clubs and suites for not only ticketholders but also their guests who enroll.

New Integrations

Integrations are a key component of what separates Wicket’s facial authentication platform from other biometric providers in the sports and live event industry, and we’re excited to share some of our latest integrations that are now available to Wicket customers:
