DOYLESTOWN, PA. — December 18, 2025 — Wicket, the leading facial authentication platform provider in live events, today announced that fans attending this year’s Valero Alamo Bowl at the Alamodome on December 30th will experience a faster and more seamless entry process thanks to the launch of four new QuickLane Entry lanes powered by Wicket facial authentication technology.
The Valero Alamo Bowl becomes the latest college bowl game to implement facial authentication for ticketing, continuing a wave of innovation across college athletics aimed at enhancing the fan experience.
With QuickLane Entry, fans can enter the stadium using their face instead of a phone or physical ticket. Once registered, fans can simply walk up to a designated QuickLane Entry lane, have their face authenticated by Wicket’s secure system, and proceed directly inside—no scanning, no delays.
“The Valero Alamo Bowl is known for its electric atmosphere, and we want to make sure our fans spend more time inside the stadium enjoying the game and less time waiting to get in,” said Bryan Moynihan, Vice President, Ticket Sales & Services of the Valero Alamo Bowl. “Partnering with Wicket allows us to streamline entry while maintaining the highest levels of security and privacy.”
The four QuickLane Entry lanes will be located at key entry points around the Alamodome. These lanes will be clearly marked and staffed to ensure smooth operation for fans who have opted into the program.
The Alamodome QuickLane Entry program is a voluntary, opt-in service for fans 18 and older. Registration takes less than a minute and can be completed by linking a valid ticketing account and taking a quick selfie.
“We’re thrilled to be providing a faster, more secure entry at the Valero Alamo Bowl,” said Alastair Partington, CEO of Wicket. “Our technology has already proven successful at major venues nationwide, and we’re excited to bring the same frictionless experience to one of college football’s most celebrated bowl games.”
