Frictionless Facial Authentication

In the summer of 2020, stadiums were looking for ways to reopen in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic safely. The Cleveland Browns partnered with Wicket to deploy a ticketing solution that would eliminate physical contact altogether and allow fans to remain masked.

Wicket’s facial ticketing technology allows fans to connect their face to their Ticketmaster account, enabling frictionless access to the venue.

Facial Ticketing programs, often named Express Entry or Express Access, reduce ingress lines by 400% and allow fans to spend more time in the venue, leading to happier fans and increased revenue.

Growing Footprint

At Huntington Bank Field, approximately 43,000 Browns season ticket accounts have enrolled in the Wicket program. Enrollment has grown every year, with extremely positive (rated 9.6/10) fan feedback.

Now, Wicket’s facial ticketing partnership with Ticketmaster continues to gain momentum, with several NFL teams, MLS clubs, NBA teams, college teams and events, and large-scale sports events abroad adopting the technology.
