Samson Timoner founded two computer vision companies: Scalable Display Technologies (ongoing) and Mythical Labs (aquired). He has more than 20 years experience bulding and managing computer vision teams, spearheading algorithm strategy and patent strategy. He is passionate about turning ideas into scalable shipping products, and working with customers to ensure the development roadmap meets market needs.
Samson has authored more than 10 patent families. He has numerous academic publications and has co-chaired a number of computer vision workshops including Recognizing Families In the Wild, a Face Recognition workshop.
Samson has a Ph.D. in Computer Vision from the Artificial Intelligence Lab at MIT, and a B.S. from Caltech.
